Kristin & Nick: Omaha Engagement Photographer

Before I even got my gear ready to go Kristin INSISTED that she is horrible at taking pictures. Are you kidding me! Hello beautiful bright red hair and perfect skin!!! She just needed someone to bring out the "best in her". When it comes to photography anyway. Nick, gave off the "go with the flow" attitude from the minute I met him, and clearly my gut didn't lie. He was down for anything. I love guys like that. I'm married to one! :) I had a blast at this session, got to use some fun props, and two brand new locations.

I am so glad that you two have found each other. Kristin, you truly deserved someone great and I think you made the right choice. So happy for you guys and I look forward to seeing how your future turns out in the ride of life!

Nicole & Derrik: Utah Engagement Photographer

I can't believe I almost forgot to post these! Especially when they are some of my favorite images I've ever taken! This is just a little taste off what's to come from this shoot. Aren't they gorgeous! They were such a fun couple too! I had posted a while back about the workshop I would be attending put on by Brooke from Blush Photography in SLC. These were the models! I learned more than I could have hoped for, made some new photography friends, and had an amazing time. The information Brooke shared is taken into account on every shoot I go on now. I am forever grateful to her! Thanks B! You are such an inspiration, uber talented, and super fun to be around!

Sarah & Chad: Engaged!!!

I went to college with these two at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City! Sarah lived on my floor freshman year when we got to know each other and Chad (aka Tiny) was the guy at parties with a guitar who everyone sang along with! I had a blast taking these pictures and finally got to shoot at a location I'd been dying to go to! I love how each photo turned out and I think engagement shoots are now my favorite! Hope that you guys like the shots as much as I and I can't wait for your wedding in June! :)

Kersha & Brian: All Because of Garth Brooks!

Kersha is one of best friends from high school. We have been in and out of each others lives for the last 7 years (she moved to Texas, I stayed in Iowa, she joined the military, I moved to Omaha) but we have always been able to pick back up where we have left off. In November of 07 Kersha and I were lucky enough to see Garth Brooks in concert. On November 9th we made the 3 hour drive to KC with two of my other friends. We got to the Sprint Center, grabbed a couple of drinks, and headed for our seats. We got to our row and Kersha volunteered to sit on the inside. As she walked to her seat, she caught the eye of the handsome stranger she would be sitting next to. He stared for a brief moment at the cold, bubbly, gold liquid that filled each glass in her hand and as she finally approached he asked, "You brought one for me?" Kersha, being the very independent and strong woman that she is, looked him straight in the eyes and said, "Hell no, these are both for me!" It was a match made in heaven! They exchanged numbers after a night of laughs and great music. Talks on the phone developed into road trips to visit each other and eventually a very strong and beautiful relationship formed! A little over a year later, Brian proposed to Kersha and they are now getting married at the end of August!

Lindsey & Brett Engagement Photo's

Ahhh yes...another session I had to pull out from the "old vault". I took these for my friend Lindsey during the last week of college at Briar Cliff. She and Brett were married shortly after graduation and now have a beautiful baby girl and live in Michigan. Its been a few years, but they were super fun! Hope all is well with you guys and if you're ever back in the area I would love to get some pics with the three of you!

We're Gettin' Married...

As most of you already know, Tony and I are getting married this November. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I've known him for six years, we've been together for almost three, and it was a short six months ago that he proposed. Of course that means engagement pictures. My mom's friend Lisa took some pictures for us and I edited them myself. I am so excited to be marrying the love of my life and I am so excited to show all of you how happy we are together! Enjoy!
